Yesterday little Lulin of Les Fragnes arrived. We've named her after the comet that's close to the earth at the moment. She was born around 11.30am and we found her at about midday, very wet and cold. So we brought her out into the sun and dried her under mum Gabby's watchful eye. It wasn't long before she warmed up and had rolled into her tummy.
Finally we carried her back into the stable to bond with Gabby. She's a fine strong little cria now.
I'm Stephanie, wife to Chris, and mum to Benj 18, Caiti 15 and Ruadhri 8. I was born in Ipswich, UK, lived a long time in Cork, Ireland and now live in France where we run a tourist business combining a gite, carp fishery and llama trekking. I used to be a children's author in Ireland, with more than 30 books under my belt, and other careers include accounting and editing. I've knitted for as long as I can remember, and still love it!
